| Adrian Connery |
After playing the London pub circuit in the 70s, Adrian worked in Jersey and the Canaries before heading further and further north to accommodate his Viking tendencies, where the long winter nights and crazy summer days inspired him to write. He subsequently toured Scandinavia, USA and Europe in various guises. Recently he teamed up with John Kerrison and Nick Simper of The Pirates, Barry Parfitt and Pete Parks to record the album Blagards & Cowboys. |
| John Kerrison |
John has been drumming since the early 1960s. He first teamed up with Nick in the Pirates in 1966, and joined Ian Gillan and Roger Glover in Episode Six in 1967. A works accident in 1971 left John disabled and curtailed his drumming activities, but a specially modified drum kit has enabled him to pick up the sticks again. |
| Barry Parfitt |
Barry's first recording was the eponymous album by Walrus (December 1970 - Deram SML 1072) and since then has played a variety of genres, his most recent band being the jazz-oriented outfit Special Edition. |
| Nick Simper |
Nick needs no introduction. His name is synonymous with one of the greatest rock bands ever, Deep Purple, of which he was a founder member. He first played professionally with Johnny Kidd and The Pirates and is now writing his life story, which you can see exclusively at his web site, www.nicksimper.com. |
| Pete Parks |
Pete played alongside Nick Simper in Warhorse. He subsequently went on to record albums with the much acclaimed Fandango and has performed with BB King, Paul McCartney and Simple Minds. Pete and Nick have been in the Good Ol' Boys since the mid 1980s. |
